We breed for the love a dog, our hope is to bring to other people the joy we have known with these wondeful dogs. We have a deep love for the German Shepherd dog as part of a family, an "everything dog". Not an extreme dog, hyper, aggressive, kennel bound and only brought out for sport.
We spend our day to day life with our dogs. Our dogs all grow up with children, first our 6 (2 of which still live here) and now visits from the 3 grandchildren. Not to mention our very extended family and friends. All our dogs are loving and loved family members, they live in the house, sleep and eat in the same rooms as we do. Never tied, kenneled or left outside 24/7, these are truly house dogs.
My husband has done heating for over 20 years, this allows me to carry on with "my dogs", for which I thank him. We have had the same kennel name, phone number, and vet. since before we started breeding. Every single pup ever born here has seen the same vet. (you can see a note from my vet HERE)
Our puppies are born in the house too. Our mothers are well taken care of and are never left to whelp on their own. We assist every birth to help ensure the safety of our moms and healthy pups. The pups are handled from birth with lots of love and attention. They get lots of fresh air and space to run and play. Most times they leave here almost housebroken.
Our breedings are always made in mind to produce healthy family pets and protectors with good temperaments, strong ears, straighter backs and striking looks. Our pups are smart and easily trained. Though our breedings are planned for family friendly temperaments, we have produced dogs that have done therapy, search and rescue, police, arson/scent detection and protection.
